Dreams that Haunt

“There are people, who live in a dream world, and there are some who face reality; and then there are some who turn one into the other.”

I have had many dreams that haunt, even when I wake up and I managed to classify them in 2 ways: one is nightmares. Here I get to know fear, death and brutality, even ghosts.
But the other is more troubling, only after I wake up, for I realize I am never going to get it. That is the loveliest dreams. Even long after waking up, it hurts to know that few hours ago it was all a dream, those lovely moments, none of it happened, and not even likely to happen. For example, I dreamt of a beautiful girl (name not mentioned) chatting to me, gently we know each other and she starts loving me and we meet daily. When I wake up, I realize I am 250 km away from her; that she doesn’t even talk to me, just knows me by face and I can never get her. But, I think on it again and again and just wish there was some way I could make my dreams true, though then I will have to experience horrific dreams in reality but as my knowledge of fiction suggests, love can beat all the worst evils.

No, it leaves a bad effect. That sense of despair. Anyways, I had expected some appreciation of the quotation as well
